The communication between parents and children plays a key role in building a deep and loving relationship between them. Parents should communicate in a way that their children feel understood beyond expectations and in a way that their emotional needs are fulfilled. Often in an urge to reply back to the situations and conversations with our children, we tend to forget to respond to what is in their hearts.
This workshop added to my knowledge by presenting new concepts that helped me understanding my children even better. I am looking forward to some more workshops like this.
“Toolkit for Communication” helped me in building a deeper relationship and an empathic bond with my daughter.
I really appreciate the way the things were presented in the workshop. It gave us with some realistic tools to understand the psychology of the children and ideal solutions to our problems, in the light of Prophetic conduct.
“The Day when neither wealth nor children will be of any benefit. Only those who come
before Allah with a pure heart [will be saved].”
Surah Ash-Shu’ara, 88-89
It is important to recognize the spiritual diseases and engage oneself in lifelong efforts to cleanse
and purify one’s heart. Just like our physical existence would become feeble and lose all its vitality
owing to lack of attention, proper nutrition, and care; our spiritual existence (our soul) also requires
sincere and continuous care through its purification using various practical and academic treatments
prescribed in Islam.
You will be the first to know when the doors open again,
It was really an engaging workshop serving the need of the hour. It highlighted the code of communication as a prerequisite for relationship building with my children which helped me a great deal in fulfilling their emotional needs and work on my temperament issues.
